Ah, lookey there. Look at big bowl of creamy, cold, chocolatey, peanut buttery goodness. I’m drooling already can I skip the post and go back to eating my banana ice cream?
No?
Fine. But excuse me for a moment while I put my ice cream back into the freezer. I won’t let this small piece of heaven melt because you request a full length blog post.
I love the ice cream brands, So Delicious, and Purely Decadent, but lately I’ve wanted a quicker and healthier option.
One night I was searching for quick vegan ice cream recipes and a suggestion for banana ice cream popped up:If that’s not the cutest recipe photo then I don’t know what is. Immediately after seeing this photo I rushed into my kitchen and threw those bananas into my freezer so hard I think I broke a few burritos.
Clearly, bananas were the higher priority.
- 6-7 frozen bananas
- 3 Tbsp. creamy peanut butter
- ⅛th to ¼th c. mini chocolate chips
- 3 Tbsp. to 5 Tbsp. almond milk
- Place all of your ingredients into a food processor or high powered blender.
- Blend on high power until everything is combined and creamy.
That’s it. WOAH THAT’S IT HOW EASY IS THAT?! But seriously, everything’s done.
*gets ice cream from freezer and plops back down on the couch with laptop
There you go, banana ice cream. Now enjoy.
Much Love,
Katherine Marie
My Bible Verse For Today:
“The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights. For the director of music. On my stringed instruments.”
